Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Representative reports to the Vice President of Sales and will have a highly visible role as part of The Peelle Team with the goal of increasing opportunities, sales growth and The Peelle Company brand.  This position will generate revenue by developing relationships with existing and new clients, identifying project/installation opportunities, and providing sales proposals, which meet the customer needs while maximizing revenue (profit).  In addition, they will provide market intelligence, report on competitor’s activity and project trends to assist in formulating a comprehensive sales strategy.

Job Function and Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales by executing the sales strategy as outlined in the yearly strategic sales plan
  • Develop customer relationships and manage interactions throughout the customer lifecycle in order to build relationships, improve customer retention and drive sales growth
  • Attend industry tradeshows and events as required to maintain a high level of presence and represent the company
  • Conduct sales calls to determine key decision makers and build relationships
  • Provide customer training to and establish self as leading specialist in the field
  • Handle inquiries and advise customers in a consultative approach on product suitability, options and installation requirements for new, modernization and repair equipment
  • Work with Peelle internal team regarding design feasibility, costs and timelines
  • Provide proposals quickly and accurately while ensuring complete scope of work and value added solutions are presented
  • Continuously follow project proposals until completion (i.e. approved, ordered or rejected) to generate customer engagement
  • Negotiate sales and pricing within set boundaries
  • Present and explain terms and conditions, negotiate and close sales
  • Process order entries
  • Compile all documents required for complete sales order file
  • Update project tracking logs and enter sales bookings reports
  • Hand off order to project management


  • 3 years’ experience in technical sales
  • Post-secondary education in technical level certificate
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in working with CRM tools
  • Self-motivated, high energy and enthusiastic
  • Flexible hours of availability as required
